alexb
G'Day All I am just about to purchase Blue Jeans speaker cables with welded spade connectors for my Cornwall IV's arriving tomorrow. What size spade connectors should I order that would correctly fit the speaker terminals? For clarity I am referring to the "internal" dimension of the spade connector i.e. the width of the inside of the "U" formed by the sides of the connector. Or another way, what's the diameter of the binding post itself? The options I have are 6.5 mm or 9 mm Many Thanks Alex
Schu
the spades I use on my AK6's are 9mm at the mouth and 6mm at the base. it should be the same terminal plate that is being used now on the CWIV SOLID 1.5mm copper.
alexb
@Schu Thanks for your helpful response - I will then order the 6.5 mm spades to terminate the speaker end of the cable. Edited June 3, 2022 by alexb
