tridentxan Posted June 15, 2022 Share Posted June 15, 2022 I want to say I've had the ProMedia 2.1 system for probably a little over a year now. I absolutely love how much power they have and the bass that the subwoofer provides. However, in the middle of using them today, the system shut off entirely. I've checked the wiring to the satellite speakers, the input to the preamp, plugged the subwoofer into several different outlets, nothing works. I'm not sure what happened as I was just watching YouTube at a normal volume of around 25%. Did a fuse blow in the system or something? I sent a support ticket into Klipsch but I'm sure I'm out of the warranty period by now seeing as I don't have the receipt from Walmart anymore. I really don't want to open up the subwoofer until I get a response from Klipsch but at this point. Really disappointed that these have failed after just over a year of ownership with no hard usage.
