MBD3
I am new to this forum and wanted to know if there is a way to find out what year my Klipsch Cornwalls are? Type: CBR Serial: 29W913 and 29W914
Marvel
The 'W' in the serial number indicates 1981. If you look under the 2- Channel Home Audio section... Under Klipsch Heritage "Codes" is a ton of info.
Dave A
The added bonus to 1981 is that you should have soldered lug K-55-V drivers which are the best of all the K-55's Klipsch used.
OO1
1981 was a transition year at klipsch , 1981 CBR Cornwall 1 should have the B2T crossover , the midrange driver could be any of 3 drivers....k-55V pushpin -dual phase plug k-55V - K-51V ., all 3 drivers sound pretty much identical . you should see a similar view of the drivers as this picture , unless the midrange driver is the black K-51V Edited June 28, 2022 by
