Bubo
In broad strokes, the review was spot on Agree, the Forte punches way out of it's weight class I spent days listening to all of them side by side at Audio Associates in Wheaton MD, back in the 70s. The KH has better base, but placement sensitive, so I went with the LaScalas and never looked back

jjptkd
His review actually has me curious about the forte IV-- again would love to see a new Chorus model with a Cornwall IV midhorn and driver and all the latest technology I'd be very tempted to buy a pair new if they were ever to materialize.. @Chief bonehead don't understand why you can't make this happen the k-48 woofer is still in use in the pro models, mid and tweets from the Cornwall IV passive from the forte IV just need the cabinet and crossover how many committed buyers would it take to spark an interest? henry4841
I would dare to say most class D amplifiers have a switching power supply which will most likely fail before a linear PS that most class A and AB amplifiers have. Most high end amplifiers I have seen for sell have a much better warranty than 1 year. I would expect an amplifier that cost that much to last at least a couple of decades. Just saying.
