Dean, not sure what is next. I'm sure they will check out what they removed.

 

Not fond of the catheter. My doc is head of urology at Erlanger. At least I didn't get sick with the procedure. Robotic assisted, ten staples. Not very comfortable, but I've been up walking around the house and drinking lots of water.

Yes, the Foley (indwelling) catheter is no fun, unless you like to binge watch TV for a day or two at a time.  Keep an eye on your testosterone level.  It may get low and stay there.  The main thing is that you have one less part to get cancer.  Wishing you a quick and complete recovery.

My catheter had three holes in it, one for injecting medicine, one for injecting air to inflate the internal air bag to keep it from falling out, and one to pee-pee. It was not a problem for a weeks time. When removed after the air was released it almost fell out with zero pain.
