Have been kept inside and air conditioned their entire lives. Never been rebuilt. All original. If you know, you know. These are the oiled oak finish with little to no marks, scratches or blemishes. Have original stands purchased with the speakers 30 years ago by my Dad. Would love to keep these speakers, but I don't have a room (nor enough room) with the acoustics to truly enjoy these powerhouses.
