I struggled with a crappy Denon remote from around 2004 and finally bought a $5 Panasonic universal.  Controls the power and mute and I am happy.  Nice and fast and doesn/t drain batteries every month.

Long way of saying that a universal should do it if you can get the codes from Mark.

Can you send me a link to the model panasonic?

Controls mute and volume?

I am in trouble if I can't resolve this.

I really appreciate your help.

Thank you

Here, Phillips SRP9232D/27, looks like it is back ordered.  You need the code to program it.  Contact Mark for that.

For those interested in an OEM stick:

It is still available from Celedon.

If anyone buys one, let me know what they are charging. Should be pretty cheap.

The one used in Peach is an RC5 code.

WHat is the RC5 code?  If I recall, the universal remotes list say Denon and have five numbers and you try each until one works.

I guess it is the genetic code used by Celedon in their "remote solutions". They sell "Tx/Rx sets", which is what i opted for with JMA products. Easy Peasy to implement in something like Peach/BBX.
