Glenn L.
I have a QSC 1450 and a Yamaha RX-V583 and want to hook up my turntable and speakers to it. Any advise. Be kind, I’m not savvy to stereo equipment. Thank you
billybob
Welcome! You may well need a phono preamp for the turntable unless the one you have, or are getting has one built-in. Tell us more... thanks! @Glenn L.
SonicSeeker
You will need a phono pre-amp as billybob stated suited to the type of phono cartridge you are using unless your turntable has one built in, it is not something that is typically part of a turntable, and it looks like you have an audio left and right input labeled audio 3 on the rear panel of your Yamaha. The speakers are connected to the speaker outputs labeled front L and R for stereo.

billybob
Yes as for your speakers, use the diagrams for speakers connections to be found in your users manual. Based on what your set-up is, you may not require the QSC hooked for the moment. What speakers are you going to use...
