Orikata
Hi, I have a RW10 subwoofer and the sound is weak. I know it is not the cables because i tried with another sub. I opened the sub to see if there are any bunt component, but everything look normal. I tried with the volume potentimeter disconnected and the sound was a little louder. Maybe the power supply is not delivering enough power. What points can i check with my multimeter ? Regards
captainbeefheart
Probably the easiest way to check is the ribbon connectors or wires that connect boards together will have silkscreen print telling what each pin does; "+5vdc", "+24vdc", "-24vdc", "gnd", "signal +", "signal -" etc........... are examples of what to look for. That or post a pictures of the boards so one of us can annotate the image with places for you to check voltages. I believe that has a smps and not for the faint of heart to diagnose compared to a linear supply.
wuzzzer
What happens when you turn up the gain on the sub? What is the subwoofer output level set to in your receiver?
Orikata
Hi thank you for your answers, the power supply was good. The problem was the amp, so i changed the amp with a BASH 300S
