I personally doubt the tag can be read as Oak Clear . Btw , your speakers are spectacular  .

I believe the tag should be read as " Oak Lacquer " , or OL , it is the person's hand writing which gives the impression of the letter C although it's really the letter L with a rounded shape  .

The kllipch Belle with oak veneer were available in the oiled oak which is OO , the historical reference lists Klipsch Belles oiled as OL which is a typo ,

- the second option , is OL or , oak lacquered and yes  , lacquer is a light clear coat .

Hi All, I have a pair of 1980 Heresy's and each driver has a Red 'H' stamped on them... I can't find much reference for the H other than one AI response that said it was an experiment Paul Klipsch Center channel Heresy speaker...? My Dog is dying to know... Anyone have any thoughts? Please and Thanks.
