gskiffer
Hello all. I am curious because my cinema 600 died. So I was wondering could I upcycle the subwoofer. And use it with another system?
OO1
the Subwoofer is still ok .
gskiffer
001, you misunderstood my question. I know that subwoofer is ok. I was just curious to find out if I could use it (wirelessly) with another system. More out of curiosity than anything else
OO1
@gskiffer tx for confirming that the sound bar is dead , the cinema 600 subwoofer should function wirelessly with the Cinema 800 sound bar . You can repair the Cinema 600 sound bar by replacing the power supply , btw , the parts are relatively inexpensive .
gskiffer
@001 Yeah, I've saw some blogs where people have repaired their Cinema series soundbars. I just decided not to. Thank you for your assistance.

Yeah, I was just sitting around thinking and decided to check out the online community. To see if there was anyone who had or who heard of anyone who'd utilized one of these subwoofers like that.

The Cinema 800 uses a different subwoofer.
OO1
Nope , Both the Cinema 600-800 are compatible systems , plus you can add a 2nd subwoofer or simply replace either the Cinema 600-800 wireless subwoofers with the subwoofer of your choice.
