that's a bit extreme, especially for oak.  i just sold my walnut chorus 1s for $1300 and was pleased.  should have asked a LOT more, huh?

my room is only 10' wide and the chorus really need more room to breathe.  however, i just picked up some quicksilver mid monos which probably would have been awesome with the chorus.  i should have been more patient . . .

I think some of the price hikes are people selling things they don't really want to sell. So if I price it high maybe the SO won't be so angry when I end up keeping them. Or if they sell it's enough money I can buy the new whatever I want.

The combination of covid stimulus checks and mortgage/car loan deferment created a whirlwind of inflation. That's when Klipsch used prices went ballistic. Now that inflation is grabbing us by the throat, prices are getting lower again. The world is a ghetto.
