Hofy
I was listening to the ol' Eico ST70 last night when the right channel cut out and I could smell something hot! After pulling the plug and opening up the bottom I was greeted with a mess of melted wires. I think that one of the 7591s is toast too. Looks like it is time for that rebuild I have been planning. Film at 11.

Hofy
Ok here is a pic of the melt down. I think one of the old caps died and took some wire and a tube with it. I am reviewing The Eico rebuild page and warming up the Weller. Craig I think I am going to need parts for 2 amps! Here are 2 more urls if anyone wants to see the front and top side. http://www.merr.com/users/hofy/amp1.jpg http://www.merr.com/users/hofy/amp2.jpg
