Decent premp for around $500

My Luxman TP-114 sadly has remote issues. For me to send it to the Sound Doctor in Colorado to be fixed I think is sadly not worth it. What would you guys recommend for a good preamp to be paired with my Denon POA-2200 running KG5.5s? Looking to keep it around $500 and under. New and old preamps to be considered. Just needs to have a remote for volume. Thanks guys.

I haven't used a CD player in years now.  Still have well over a thousand CD's but they are all ripped to a Synology NAS and I rarely even use JRiver anymore.  About the same with my LP's; around 800 and haven't spun one in close to 2 years.

Not sure about the specs on that Denon amp. But if you can use a passive preamp, like the Schiit mentioned above, you'll likely not find an active preamp under a thousand dollars (sometimes much more) that can touch a high quality passive.

For under 500.00, I'd go with this:

If you can stretch your budget, this one:

Yeah maybe someday. But as of now I gotta spin old school style.
