GuyDamann
I just bought a set of Klipsch rp-280f floor speakers. When I bought them I thought I read that they were rated up to 300 watts. I was going to hook them on up to my e motiva xpa-2 amplifier that puts out 300 watts per Channel. Am I going to blow up these new speakers if I hook my amp up to it? I know that these speakers are rated up to 600 watts Peak
wuzzzer
Only if you turn it up loud enough for there to be audible distortion. You could connect a 10,000 watt amp to them and be fine under the same circumstances.
