Peacemaker
A few months ago I acquired a pair of Heresy II's that are in great condition except for one broken binding post. Can I just replace the single post and or is it more involved? Where can or should I source the replacement part/s from? Thanks!
wuzzzer
It’s too bad Radio Shack doesn’t exist anymore because they were always good for stuff like that. I would order something like this and use whichever binding post from it that is broken: https://www.amazon.com/Jabinco-Insulated-Terminal-Binding-Amplifier/dp/B07ZJLB6QK
Peacemaker
Thank you! Miss Radio Shack. I just ordered those posts. I haven't looked inside yet, but will the internal connection need to be soldered?
wuzzzer
If I remember correctly, in the Heresy II pair I had the binding posts just screwed on and off from the back.

Pry out gently at bottom while pushing up for clearance.

Marvel
You probably know by now, but the whole crossover is mounted on the input cup with the binding posts.

I found that out after I removed it. Looks like as someone suggested I have to de-solder the wire for the broken post. Will it come out after that? You’ll have to separate the crossover from the cup after desoldering to remove the broken post.

Peacemaker
Update. Desoldered the old binding posts from the crossover and installed the new binding posts. Process went smoothly and the Heresy is working great! Thank you to everyone that helped me understand the process!
