RichMaty Posted February 11, 2023 Share Posted February 11, 2023 I currently have a KSW – 200 matched up with a pair of Heresy IIs in my library running my 2 channel stereo just for music. I am running a Marantz AV550 through two channels of a B&K AV5000 mk2. Everything sounds good to me. My question is… is a modern R-12SW a better sub than the ksw for this setup? I happen to have an extra R-12SW cuz I upgraded to 3 HT1205s in my theater room. Not sure if the ksw is a better match cuz of the paper cones or if a newer R-12SW is just better all around. Also anyone know how long the ksws last? it’s about 25 years old already so not sure if I should just upgrade it for that reason.
