Since it's "Home Theater"....

rebuy

I hated sony for years after discman.  Fast forward 10 plus years and a 40" Bravia hung on my wall.  4-5 years out of warranty and they send a tech over to inspect for potential safety issue at no cost and that's all I buy from this point.  I've got 2-3 Bravia's,  none are oled as it's out of my price range, but right up there for best before you get into oled, and no complaints.

It's taken a some adjustment but I think I have it right now.

The picture was a little too dark and I used the Black level

to brighten it up. It's a great looking TV.

I bought from the outlet store at Crutchfield and it

looks like Brand New. Saved a few hundred bucks too.

After watching Tech Videos

on Youtube and using advanced settings.

this is the best looking TV I've had.

It's like watching films at home.

I do think I'll buy an extended warranty.

Anyone here have experience with that?

That was a nice thing about buying the master series picture was preset for optimal quality from factory, so I didn’t have to mess with all that… have to agree that the picture is awesome on the TV weather you are setting it yourself or getting it preset…. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it.

I also gave up on Sony years ago.  Like 4 TV's, PS3, and some other devices... Their quality does not match their price and the warranties have been worthless (they wouldn't warranty and obvious build issue days out of warranty).  They are entirely off my list for anything they make, probably for life at this point.  Hell, when it comes to TV's these days, I buy Vizio's.  For the money, they're hard to beat and all the expensive TV's outdate themselves as fast as computers.  Bang for buck and move on.
