Here's a photo of the 5v and 24v wiring on the new power supply Hi, My Cinema 600 died a couple of weeks ago. I just found this forum and joined. How are the wires from the power cord wired into the new power supply? I'm not well versed in circuit board wiring, it may be obvious to someone who is. Thanks for any help! waterpro
I think what might be tripping people up is that there must have been a wiring change at some point for the Cinema 600 sound bar. Because my original 5V wires are not the same as what @001 posted. @001 has the following 5V wires: STB - Red VDD - White GND - Black However, on my Cinema 600 (purchased Nov 2020), my 5V wires are indicated below: STB - Red VDD - Black GND - White So the white and black wires are reversed on my system. I just ordered my power supply from Amazon and it should be here next week. When it comes in, based on my original power supply and what I think I understand, I'll be inserting my white GND) wire into the V- and then I'll be twisting my Red (STB) and Black (VDD) together and inserting them into the V+ on the new power supply. So I think the key is that you need to look at your original wiring first and then you can figure out where they go on the new board. I'll know for sure next week though. Sully646
Hey guys Im super excited I found this post and I have the new Power Supply recommended above hoping @001 can clarify. the new power supply has only 4 slots of the same gauge. It also has different labels. reading from left to right the first 2 screws are for +DC1- and the second 2 screws are for -DC2+ Which Wires go in what spots? Assuming this is the part y'all used since it was the one in the link provided. Thanks!
Twork3m
Holly B ok so I placed the big red n the big black in there own holes leaves two holes left. I took the black n red twisted them together and put in one n the white placed in one alone. Only get green light that’s all. I can’t see your picture to recognize my mistake or correct it. Can you please let me know how the 5 wires are to be set inside of these 4 holes??? Thank you it’s making me nuts lol.

alncr
Hey Guys, My Cinema 600 sound bar just gave out and I appreciate the info posted here! I have a question on this Did your sound bar just stop sounding every once in a while, before it actually stopped? I wasn't sure if it was my TV or the sound bar but we would be watching and suddenly we would have no sound until i turn off everything and power back on and we would have sound again. juicebox
I'm having a different issue with mine. I can connect to the bar Bluetooth but I get no noise. I had tried different phones and doing a factory reset on the bar. I have power to the bar and can control the volume with my phone... at least I can control the LED lights that indicate volume. JJJjjjJJJ
This worked for me! Bought the part from Amazon (linked by OO1), and wired it per the picture from LOL JDMs. Very helpful. Soundbar works great now.
Neal KL 600
I would just like to say that I would like to thank everyone in this forum for all the great helpful information and pictures . Lkr47
Did the replacement with the board above and still not turning on. The board light is on so it has power! What else could it be before I throw this soundbar in the street
badboyz_ink
Waterpro is exactly right. I bought the power supply and at first I wired it exactly like @001 and didn't work. I then wired it like waterpro and it still didn't work so I figured I must have shorted the new power supply. Since it's only 15 bucks I decided to buy another one and wired it just like waterpro and success!!! I was THIS close to throwing it in the garbage
eatworksleepdie
Thank you for this post! I was able to repair my Cinema 600 soundbar power supply with the replacement power supply I bought on Amazon through the link in a previous post. Mine is the Red/Black/White wiring (opposite of what's pictured). I followed the pic just switching the black/white wires. I did so last week and all has been working great for the first few days with no issues. Yesterday my wife calls me in a frantic state from home (I was at work) saying the soundbar and surround sound speakers are buzzing very loudly. Not a steady pattern or constant, just randomly buzzing. I had her pull the power from the wall so it'd stop until I could get home to check it out. I get home, plug it in, no buzzing. It worked fine all night last night with no issues. So this morning I get another call from her with the same issue. Weird loud random buzzing. I have not experienced this firsthand yet. No lights are lit up on the soundbar, so it's not "ON", but still buzzing. It must be a ground issue, yes? I'm going to take it apart again tonight to see if I can see anything obvious like a stray/frayed wire, or something touching that it's not supposed to be touching. Could anyone give me any pointers as to what I should be looking for? Or any possibilities as to what could be causing this? Thanks in advance Edited January 29 by eatworksleepdie
