Iteachstem Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 I picked these up after looking at the original pics and noticing they had a 90's SW10 driver out of a sub for the woofer in one of the quartets.... Things that make you go Hmm!?!?! Here is my journey so far.... What they looked like when I got them home. Quote
Iteachstem Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 The guy who I purchased them from said he bought the speakers with the odd driver already installed. Plus, it looks like someone previously tried to sand out the water marks on the top of the speakers...and unsuccessfully so. Does anyone on the Forum recognize these? Quote
Iteachstem Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 I sanded and stained them. While waiting for them to dry, I took the grills and washed them. It's amazing how much dust/dirt accumulates over the decades! Quote
Iteachstem Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 Added a little thickness to the area between the woofer and mid... Glue, 4 screws from the inside and 2 from the front recessed on the bottom lip of the horn cut out. Quote
Iteachstem Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 The new woofers arrived!!! Woo Hoo! Due to the lack of availability, I decided to upgrade the drivers and offer the remaining OEM 10" k-10-k woofer to members on this forum. Let me know if you're interested! 1 Quote
