This is what they have for the Khorn: GRS K-33-4 Replacement 15" Woofer for Klipsch Klipschorn, Belle Klipsch, Cornwall, and Lascala Speakers That GRS K-33 woofer has the correct T/S parameters, but buyers should be aware that the metal frame is one gauge thinner/lighter than OEM. Also, the gasket is thinner, so you might want to add a gasket if using in a K-horn or La Scala, to be sure the cone doesn't slap the motorboard. mark1101
I have a pair of good working K33s and a single good working K33. If you want genuine Klipsch parts let me know.

He told me they did not have the woofers in stock anymore. The 1987 Klipsch are AK3s I believe.

If the frame is the issue then I would go with Crites with the cast metal frame. I'll find out what the price is for replacing the cone and coil. And if they supply a new gasket.

I'm not concerned about genuine Klipsch parts because the only things that remain genuine Klipsch are the cabinet and woofers. Everything else is aftermarket. Even the front fabric grill is not Klipsch. It's a Volti creation.

It was mentioned that the Parts Express woofers have a thinner frame so it would be better to have my existing woofers re-coned. http://northwest-speakers.com/ is the web page and their phone is 770 438 0500 in case anyone else is interested
Deang
Stay away from GRS. It curves terrible. Get K-33’s below. You will have to supply them with your serial numbers. https://reconingspeakers.com/products-page/klipsch-k-33-e-woofer-121501/
KT88
I found this Canadian page, link below. Is it the very same woofer? It looks like and does someone kwow if it is a genuine Eminence product? Because I have to add taxes and customs anyway it would be a much more attractive basic price in CAD. https://repairparts.ca/121501-k-33-e-woofer

KT88
In this old thread @Travis In Austin said „You need a S/N to get K33 correct.“ I have heard about a change of K33E Fs at some point of time. So do they really offer different versions of their Klipsch K33 E? I would think if there is one type number 121501 you cannot chose different versions? Or was is meant that there is a overall time window where this 121501 is the right replacement, say early seventies to late eighties or whatever? In the old thread the Crites steel frame has the highest SPL at the very low frequencies and the data say Fs in 26 Hz. But the original Klipsch K33 shows the really best behavior over its whole band where the music plays. The differences in dB should be clearly audible. This clone GSR K33 is the most expensive of all shown alternatives in my view because it is not worth to be a Klipsch replacement if it has a 3dB loss from 150 Hz on compared with the genuine Klipsch K33 E. Therefore it is lost money.
Deang
Try not to over-think it. You’ll go nuts. I mean, look what happened to @John Warren https://northreadingeng.com/Klipschorn_model/basshorn_model.htm

Nothing against Klipsch woofers, I was advised by members on this forum not to bother replacing them since I would not realize any improvement in sound.

They buy the woofers from Klipsch, which contradicts what Klipsch told me. The woofer for my 1987 model was no longer available.
