Hi everyone,

What is the best cross-over frequency for this setup? My usage would be 70% movies, 15% games, and 15% music.

Front channel Rp 5000F2

Center Rp 404 c2

Surround 500m2

upfiring 500sa2

1200 sw sub

onkyo 6100

OK. So you're recommendation is that I should set all these speaker at 80hz. I can understand for maybe the center and the surround but why for the Front

Because then the subwoofer handles frequencies below 80Hz which is what it is designed to do.  👍

Thank last question. When I use the Onkyo 6100 recommended crossover for my models on specific it says the front should be 50hz the center at 120hz and surround at 60hz . I saw that Onkyo and Klipsch worked towards the best crossover setting already. So does that mean what they are recommending is not right.

It’s your equipment in your room.  Go with what sounds best to you.
