Zeeshan Nasir
Hi I just recently less than a month ago bought a RP-1200 sw. Earlier the green light in the front would turn on whenever I turned the amp Onkyo 6100. Now all of a sudden the green light wont turn on and it's dark. The sound is coming from the sub and I'm getting the bass but no green light on any switch mode auto on or standby. I saw the green light basically indicated the amplifier in the sub turning on . Does it mean the sub amplifier is not working
Peter P.
If you hear sound, the sub is working. Sounds like (no pun intended) the LED went bad.
Zeeshan Nasir
Ok so in actual there is nothing wrong with the inbuilt amp than because I saw in the manual it said that the green light is basically for the amp turning on.
babadono
You were thumping so loud a connection came loose? I know in my RSW-15s the LED has a connector between the amp/electronics and the LED itself. Sometimes people intentionally unplug because they don't want the light showing during movies. Pretty extreme IMHO. It could just be a loose connection, LEDs are pretty tough. OO1
this may be a defective LED issue , if you're the 1st owner of the unit , the warranty is 5 years full , get in touch with your Dealer , let them troubleshoot the problem with Klipsch Technical Support .
