halloei
My Klipsch R-15PM worked for years perfectly fine. They are plugged in 24/7 (so they don't lose the volume configuration that I set via remote control). Now suddenly, when I turn them on the next day, they are unresponsive for minutes until I can finally use them. During this, they make strange noises and the LED is flickering accordingly. Pressing any button on the remote has no effect. I have recorded a video here (I had to increase the volume significantly as my phone could barely pick up the noise): What happens here: Initial setting (from the day before) was optical source (red LED) (personal PC) I start the day by pushing the USB source (white LED) button (work PC) weird start-up begins which takes minutes at 3:15, the speakers stop being unresponsive and behave normally (the LED goes on and off a few times) I am now able to switch to USB source and the speakers work fine the rest of the day Does anyone have a clue what the issue is? I already looked for a firmware update but for this model there is no such thing. Edited August 28 by halloei
