Newby Needing a little guidance

Hello, I have purchased some KLIPSCH Fives speakers after an impressive sound test. Downsizing living quarters I need to rationalise my home set up. The Klipsch speakers past the test and will providing the sound. I have a smart TV,  DVR, Mini NUC PC and the new speakers. My objective was for the TV to be the Central Hub, the TV will either be connected to our home network via Ethernet or WiFi when we relocate, currently I am using an Ethernet connection to my Router

For the DVR (Digital Video Recorder) there is an HDMI connection to the TV.

For the NUC PC which is connected to my home Network via Ethernet and to the TV via HDMI.

From the Klipsch user guide the recommendation is to connect the Klipsch to the TV via the HDMI ARC (done).

For a technically challenged body like myself this all seemed straight forward and selecting and playing video files from my home network works fine and sound via the new Klipsch speakers is great. The same result when playing content via the DVR.

My issue is when switching back to straight TV mode there is no sound coming our via the Klipsch speakers.

Are you talking about when you’re trying to watch something with the TV being the source?  Like an over the air channel or one of the TV’s built-in apps?

Yes! I am saying if I have been viewing / using the NUC PC that is connected to my home router (ethernet) & HDMI to the Panasonic Smart TV any links accessed with sound i.e., (You tube) the sound is broadcast from the KLIPSCH Fives. When switching the TV via the AV selection on the TV remote to TV mode  I lose or get no sound.

Does your TV have settings that need to be adjusted in its audio menu?
