Marvel
Got news from Arivaca... ... Tracy Banker-Murtadza Hi. I am Bill's wife Tracy the teacher. Yes I have those beautiful speakers! I am sorry and sad to tell you that Bill passed away about 6 months ago. I knew he was on many forums but didn't know how to reach out to anyone. If you or anyone else wishes to reach out to me from this forum please pm me. ... Josh was on the towns community site and has responded. Breaks my heart. His wife is sending info... I knew someone would know him... Arivaca's population is around 600. I'll be back with more info. 2

Dave1291
That's just plain sad. Seriously sad. So miuch fun with him in the rooms then bouncing pm's and laffin. Ya just don''t let guys like him outta your head when they disappear. I'm thinking he told me he dumped his son's bike on a gravel road turning around and cut his leg up pretty bad. Then about 4-5 days later said it was infected and he thought he was going to have to drive to the Doc. That was it, which is crazy and not like him at all. So I guess we'll see. Thanks for the post Bruce and to you Josh for doing the work in Arivaca. It's just sad. RIP Bill and yea, I can remember that story of you in that stand in part in the movie you were in and laff. Sittin around drinking coffee. The Bowling Alley stories. Just all of it. Crazy for sure but you'll never be forgotten. Maybe she'll send us that sarong & his sandels so we can put them in the museum? 😂 Gonna miss ya brother! Tracy, if ya see this, I really wish I could have driven down to meet you two a few years ago when I was in Phoenix. Stand tall cause he was a good one! Prayers lifetd for you both! 1

Marvel
His real name was William Ferrone. From his sister: Laura Ferrone Yep Bruce, that would be my brother Bill. I picked up said speakers from a guy in Mishawaka Indiana for him. They sat in my house in Indiana for a long time time before he came to take them home. He loved those speakers. Thanks for caring to check on him. That speaks volumes about your online community. 5

Marvel
Grasshopper's wife, Tracy Banker-Murtadza sent me this through their community site in Arivaca: Well, he was one of a kind. He suffered a lot of pain from his sciatica but he didn't complain a lot. I would ask him to rest but he said he would have it whether he was working or not so he might as well just work. He was intelligent enough to join Mensa but didn't or wouldn't because he didn't want to be put in a box. Does that make sense? He was a mechanic by trade...an inserter in various bowling centers and also worked at many other jobs during his lifetime, from sous chef to working in mobile manufacturing to nursing and hospital jobs taking blood, etc. He was an excellent listener. He would listen, not just hear and if you would like advice then he would offer it, he was my fix it man. He could fix almost anything. And he had a great sense of humor. I miss him so much. He had a varied Int of thin00 (interest of things?) 2

MookieStl
I never interacted with Grasshopper but always enjoyed his posts and perspective on life, etc. Wish I had met him at some point. I know it would have been a hoot. He will be missed here. RIP
