VSAT88
Question. Seems as if I was reading that when replacing the diaphragms on the KLF 10 horns that there was mention of modifying the wave guide by removing the plastic cross section at the throat of the horn. Are we doing that when replacing the diaphragms or am I just not recalling correctly. Thanks. Edited October 30 by VSAT88 Add image.

I would not remove them as they are part of the phase-plug assembly I'd be curious to see where you read that info and who wrote it
VSAT88
Have no clue. Cant recall. May have been someone experimenting with something other than Klipsch. Just do not remember. Thanks for letting me know. I will not try and modify them. Also I bought Crites x overs and a set of the Klipsch "127123 - K-792/103-TI DIAPH. KIT" to go in them. I have the x overs installed and it seems to me that the speakers sound far better than before. Now to install the diaphragms when they arrive. I like the sound of these speakers.
