Nholbrook Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 (edited) Klipsch Forte 2 speakers. One of the speakers wasn't working when I bought them. Found out it had a frozen woofer. Bought a direct replacement woofer from Klipsch. I also have some Forte 3 components installed because I believe one of the crossovers needs attention. I installed the Forte 3 crossovers and tweeters. I also have the midrange drivers, but those haven't been installed. For the asking price, I will include all of the original components with the upgraded components. The cabinets have some marks on them that will need touched up - $1000. Come listen to them! winglet Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Just what components are installed in these forte? One k28 woofer and one original k25? forte iv crossovers and tweeters? No kidding you haven’t installed the iv mid drivers… they won’t fit the existing bolt on mid horns…. You need k604 or k703(m) mid horns… and k281 woofers… Quote
Nholbrook Posted December 1, 2024 Author Posted December 1, 2024 Sorry my original post was misleading as I worded it incorrectly. I updated my original post. I purchased Forte 3 parts from a guy who purchased a Forte 4 upgrade kit. I installed the Forte 3 crossovers and tweeters. Woofers (one was replaced from klipsch with a K‐28) and midrange are original Forte II. Quote
