Artemmarius
Hi folks, newbee's here. Just got my first Klipsch product - The Three Plus (walnut). It is beautiful, sounds great etc. But there appears to be a problem. Even at minimum level it is waaay too loud. I was supposed to use it in my small bedroom for background music, occasional podcasts etc. especially at night when the kids are sleeping but even at volume level 1 I can hear it through the closed door. Is there any way to make it sound less loud?
wuzzzer
What are you using as a source?

hale
Having the same issue, bluetooth as the source. but optical has the same issue, at minimum is about at loud as I'd ever want it. any way to get more control of the volume? Not only is it too loud the steps are way to wide.

Artemmarius
Regardless of the source - one step of the volume makes it just too loud for comfortable background listening. I've partially fixed this issue by adding another bluetooth headphone amp as a preamp. I am connecting my phone with that preamp, then run it to the Three RCA input. So I can reduce the volume by turning the volume down on the preamp. But this setup kinda ruins the very purpose of purchasing the Three Plus at the first place - having nice sleek and vintage looking piece of gear on the nightstand. hale
Correct pressing the volume button on an iPhone once has the same effect as rolling the volume control, on the Three. Also note that adjusting the volume on the three's roller updates the iPhone dispaing the volume update on the overlay. Volume control is not continuous but rather in steps. And the volume change per step is the same regardless of what item is used to change the value it, this includes changing the volume in the klipsch app from the phone. Our only hope is a firmware update I guess Edited November 25, 2024 by Artemmarius

I guess my The One is different since the volume control on The One itself is independent from the Bluetooth volume on my phone so I’m able to use both to fine tune the volume. Unfortunately it's different in this case
misterH
Any updates in this? Because it is annoying. Using Klipsch for month or so, I'm starting to regret I haven't purchased Sonos.
