Chandu
Hello, I went with below setup for my new home theater and the room size is 18'W X 21'LX8'H. I feel like the front and center speakers seems under powered. Any suggestions? Does anyone own PRO-250RPW's and are you happy with the power of these speakers? Peter P.
I can't find any installation instructions for those speakers. Are there any? Do they require removing any insulation behind the speakers? Is there a speaker enclosure to mount in the stud wall? Do you have to specify the resistance rating of the speaker in the setup menus? Those are reasonably efficient speakers. However, I can't find specs for the receiver stating North American all channels driven; they just spec two channel output. I'd still expect the receiver sufficient for your application.

Double check that everything is wired in phase? What channel output levels are your front 3 set to in your receiver?

If you want more volume from any speaker just manually raise their levels until you’re satisfied with the results.

Or are there any better Klipsch speakers for fronts ?

derrickdj1
It looks like you have plenty of headroom. Bump all the speakers or front three up 5 or 6 db. It's all relative and will make you feel like the system has more power.
Peter P.
It doesn't make sense to me why ALL the channels are attenuated. I would expect all channels to be referenced to one channel (or the L-R main channels) which would be at 0dB. Something doesn't seem right.

The calibration is designed to have all speakers playing at Reference volume when the receiver’s main volume is at 0.0dB.
Mike_S
Does your receiver have any adjustment for "dynamic range" that will cut down on the wide dynamics, everything will be a little louder. Another thing is "dialog boost" or center channel adjustment. These settings can have a dramatic affect. You also not stating what volume you are listing at. Can it be as simple as just turning up the volume? Your adjustments are not out of range for "reference" volume. Mine are all -3 - -5db. Just moving the center up +1-2db might also help. But do not move it up too much, as the system will be out of balance. When sounds pan, they will have very different volumes. It will sound even worse. Another thing that might need to be set is the crossover points. No idea where your speakers should be set, but that can vastly change the sound. Even adjusting the center ch crossover can vastly change the sound.
derrickdj1
If clarity and dialogue are not adequate, it could be speaker/ room interference and placement. Describe what all you don't like with the sound.
