myphronesis
Hello, I am not an audiophile. We like blues to rock. We like movies. We moved into our older condo in Vancouver, BC that has Klipsch 5000 series (2011?) in-wall. I am powering them with an older Yamaha RX-V667 receiver. I have a pair in the living room (15’x17’) on a side wall with the Samsung 55” tv and soundbar on the front wall. I also have a pair in the bedroom and Klipsch ceiling speakers in the kitchen and two bathrooms. I run these other speakers via a BT Yamaha R-S202 receiver connected to the main receiver. I want to pair the wall mounts with two free-standing speakers on the opposite side of the room since playing movies etc. makes the sound one-sided! I will couple this with an existing sub. There are some great deals now on Klipsch R41 and R51 speakers. I like the smaller size of the R41s. Any comments or recommendations would be appreciated. Additional questions - recommendations on stands for the speakers? Also - the wall speakers have an IR badge. What would I need IR for? Thanks! billybob1
Welcome @myphronesis... Would go with the. Bigger is better for that room so, would go with the 51s...speaker stands around ear level height when seated.

billybob1
Having adjustable stands, also an option, yet not necessary.
