retep_085
I am running a pair of Klipsch RP-6000F II and I am happy with the results. In the next couple of months, I want to upgrade my set gradually to get a full-fledged ht system. The next parts I want to add to my system are a subwoofer or a center channel speaker. I found out that some centers that I was considering for my system are on sale now. The RP 500C II and the 504C II. The 504 would be about 200 Euro more expensive than the 500. Budget wise I could afford both. The space below my TV also should be ample for either of them. I need to double-check for the final confirmation. What do you guys think would it worth to get the 504 or would be the 500 ample to give great results in a 25 square meter room?
derrickdj1
There is a big difference in how the two center channels perform. A lot depends on room size. The 504 will have a larger soundstage. The 500c would work well in a room around 215 SF. Also, if the mains are less than 7-8 ft. apart the smaller center will work well.

Sounds like the 500c would suit very well to my room. I will go for it then.
JDS6000
I have no experience with the former, but of the latter I can state the following. The RP504C-II is simply FABULOUS. Adding it to my RP600M-II pair, my R-12SW subwoofer and Onkyo NR7100 receiver has been a TREMENDOUS PLUS for my system whether watching movies or listening to music.

Thanks a lot for sharing your impressions. The RP-504C-II is a great center for sure. I still believe the 500c would also do the job but I quite tempted to get the bigger 504. I could also afford the extra cost of the 504 and I also would have the space for the bigger center.
Mauzz
You'll never wonder what the smaller center channel sounded like if you get the larger one. 😁

After doing more research I concluded that there is no reason to not the bigger 504. I will order it today. 😀
