A similar product with different names to give you choice. Oh, where are the unique products going to come from without the corporate bottom line coming in 1st. Sonus Faber and McIntosh were premium brands, will they be dumbed down to increase sales. Audiophile may become a generic term due to mass marketing. This may be all hyperbole? Invest in Sonos? Agree. They usually want 10% of the profits no matter what bleeds. JJK Quote
Zen Traveler Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 Good News--The Klipsch Forum is back up! I wonder if we can lobby the new owners to allow a Paul Klipsch inspired BS/No BS section of the Forum....Asking for a friend. 🤓 Quote

I would love to say that this is my biggest concern right now, but that wouldn’t be entirely true. At the moment, I’m completely swamped with my dissertation, and it’s been taking up a lot of my time and energy. The pressure is definitely mounting, and juggling research, writing, and everything else in between has been quite a challenge. I’ve even been considering getting some professional help to lighten the load, and I came across https://academized.com/write-my-dissertation, which seems like a great option. The idea of having expert assistance to guide me through the process and ensure that my work meets the highest standards is really appealing. It would certainly help me stay on track and manage my workload more effectively without feeling overwhelmed. C'mon, man! 1 1 Quote
Zen Traveler Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 And to think I reported it as potential spam...Btw, remember @oldtimer the day all of us BSrs had Moderator control until they found out it was either a glitch or mistake, depending who you ask. 😁 1 Quote

Thoughts? 🤔 Sorry, I missed this earlier. Decisions about the Klipsch Forum don’t really ever go outside of the Klipsch Group, Inc. entity (which is primarily marketing, communications and e-commerce “departments”). Voxx never made a decision about the Forum, I doubt the new parent company will care about it either. I don’t think the Forum be impacted at all if the acquisition goes through next month. If there did come a time that KGI determined that they were not going to continue with the Forum I am almost certain that they would allow the Museum to continue with it and we would get Luther’s help to transition that over to where it would be as seamless as possible. If they decide to drop it, perhaps it could get moved to another non Klipsch location. But someone would have to foot the bill on that scenario. Well said Bruce. There is a lot of historical information as well which the museum would want to preserve. The people at Klipsch are aware of this and have always said if something didn’t make it feasible to continue with it they would endeavor to transition it to Museum to preserve it as archival data. 6 Quote

I've been here since 2000 and understand the Forum has changed along with Klipsch Company dynamics. I absolutely love my dozen or so KLIPSCH speakers but am satisfied enough to feel the need to upgrade...Otoh, I feel Klipsch Corp has benefited from several/many of us giving back to the company (or Art as I like to think about it 😊) by giving our advice through experience... In fact, we've come full circle: Folks come here to get Customer Service on other Klipsch products that aren't speaker related and I dont think anyone from Klipsch is reading them and THAT can't be good for the company. My 2 cents over morning coffee. Nobody is in here from Klipsch except Roy, and he is only in here to steal ideas on how to upgrade the Heritage line. 8 Quote
Zen Traveler Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 Well, thanks for clarifying that and those looking for actual Customer Service were helped by an expert in several threads today...Of course, I appreciate you moderating and everyone that keeps this place alive (including those that stir the pot on a civil basis). Thank you guys. 1 Quote

Do you mean something like a tall boy Cornwall, narrower and taller, front ported and with the same voicing and specs? Just think of all the happy buyers and their significant others…… 1 Quote

Ive never heard a direct comparison between a Chorus (1 or 2) and a Cornwall so I don’t know how similar or different they were sonically. Does anybody remember Rectilinear III speakers? They had a lowboy and tall boy version. This is the concept I’m thinking of. I did own Chorus II in the past and enjoyed them. Quote
