Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

i'm using this setup: 2x Rf7 III - Rc 64 III - 2x Rf280 (Surround) and 4x RP-500SA and PB3000 - My room size is 27m² = 290.63ft²

I'm using DENON AVCX4700.

I love the sound for movies, games etc. But after years, i think Denon is squeezed like a lemon, and my RP-500SA don't work well. I watched so many thread and i want help him with extra amp like the emotiva xp3 or 2 x Crown 2502 for frontal speakers; but both are expensive (for my pochets), and money are complicated to earn.

Can be a good improving? Thank you if someone can help me

(I hope my English is good enough)

  • Mattia changed the title to Amp for my Klipsch 5.1.4?

An XPA 3 will give your front channels all the power you need and then some.  I have the Emotiva MR1L receiver and its only rated at 140 wpc with 2 channels driven and I can't imagine needing more power in my 450 sq ft room.

An external amps may help.  Your problem was with the Atmos speaker and subwoofer. There may be some room issues that will effect Atmos and subs more than the other speakers.  A room FR may be a start.

I got my receiver during their February sale last year so maybe see what happens.  They also have a 30-day audition period where you can send it back if you want you just have to pay for return shipping.
