Jim Cornell
I have a question to raise a thought!! I own 2 pair of cornwalls, my question is,, They are both 1980, with 2 different crossover networks!! One set is type A, the other set is type B3!! WHY? JohnA
The Type A was used on early K-horns and maybe Belles and La Scalas. I doubt it should be in your Cornwall. The other possibility is that Cornwall in much older than 1980. John
Jim Cornell
Well, i thought this was kinda crazy! The sticker on the back of these cornwalls are from 1980, as well as the other pair!! I re wired the insides of both pair, and looked right at the type A, on one, and the type B3 on the other! Some one prabably put Khorn crossovers in this set, i have here!! I used flat wire monster cable inside both pair, helped out efficiency even more!! Regards Jim
Pete C
Someone broke their B3 and did a dirty substitute? Do you hear a difference? And speaking of efficiency, since you may be in the market for new crossovers: ALK
Jim Cornell
The B3 is a little brighter than the type A! With the heavier wire, there not off to much!! Just a bit on the tweeters!! Regards Jim
Al Klappenberger
Jim, WOW! The "A" is all wrong for the Cornwall. I definitly belongs in an OLD Khorn! Al K.
