So, Klipsch professional gear is out of my price range for right now. This coming summer, our family is having an Independence Day party out in the country. The system I put together, so far, will blow away what we used last year. The fireworks show is getting bigger and bigger. Using the same electronic firing system that most professionals use.

Anyway, last year we were cranking a pair of MTX TP1200 speakers on my Carver M1.5 that has been untouched since it was born 44-years ago. Yea, it was tired. Going through a Carver C1 preamp.

So, I've been loosely scanning through FB Marketplace and found a pair of Yamaha S115v Club speakers ($120/pr.) and a pair of Talent LS1 stands for $40/pr. $80 for NL4 cables from Parts Express just up the street.

Both the M1.5 and a C4000 were sent to Nelion Audio in Michigan for a refresh/rebuild and the amp got their MkII upgrade. Now producing 520wpc with 700wpc of headroom.

Temporarily set up in my home office to test for reliability. We're talking serious permanent hearing damage if gone too far for too long averaging 121.5db C-weighted.

But the wife came and warned me not to turn it up that loud inside the house. You see, her Hot Wheel collection was giving signs of starting to fall off the walls of the basement........oopps.
