garymd
Just thought I'd throw this in. A giant moth I found on the front of my house today. Don't ever recall seeing one quite this big in my part of town.

Cut-Throat
Garymd, I love the look of your Cornwalls!! Origial Zebrawood from Klipsch? I just picked up some Zebrawood to make some Vintage Oil Type A Crossovers. - And the moth - very Cool indeed. What part of the country do you live in. I've never seen a moth like that in Minnesota. garymd
Yes, original Klipsch zebrawood built by Andy himself. I live near Baltimore and have never seen a moth like that until today. Had to do a double-take. First I thought it was a butterfly sitting on a preying mantis.
IndyKlipschFan
Absolutly beautiful. Hard to say anymore!!! I am very jealous!!
tigerwoodKhorns
gary, could you look at the "tigerwood khorn photos" post that i made a few days ago. look at the second high resolution pic. I would swear that this is the same wood as my k-horns. Chris
garymd
Looks pretty darn close, doesn't it? HDBR Andy swears they're different. The grain in mine seems to have slightly straighter lines but that could just be a particular batch of veneer. I like em both. Do yours look as different in the pics as mine do compared to in person? The most realistic views are the zoom-ins.
Audible Nectar
Why are those beeeeeuuuuutiful Cornwalls in the basement??? Those should be out in your main room for everyone to see - truly "jewels of the abode" Wonderful speakers!
edster00
Those are very nice looking Cornwalls! Forgive me if you have mentioned in the past, but have you had them since new or did you find them used?
garymd
They're in the basement because we are currently remodeling. They normally reside in the upstairs family room as the front speakers for my HT and my 2-channel speakers using a switchbox I recently recommended on another thread (niles dps-1). I used to list all that stuff in my signature but it was too long and repetetive. I am the original owner. Bought them from Myer-Emco in July 1980. They were the only cornwalls in the store and I had to have them.
garymd
BTW - Thanks for your compliments. I appreciate them all very much.
oosting
Beautiful speakers! BTW, the moth is a Luna Moth. Ed
Klipschfoot
Never include even a part of a Cornwall in a picture captioned "two channel junk." BTW, I also live near Balto and recognized the Luna moth which is almost as hard to find as a Cornwall for sale.
garymd
Sort of joking about the "junk" comment. Actually referring to the quantity as opposed to quality. My next door neighbor caught the moth so her grandchildren could bring it to school for science class. I've lived in this area practically my whole life and have never seen one before.
