pinipig523
wow, reminds me of my first pc, it only had 8mb of ram - and that was pretty much top of the line!!!
lynnm
I can remember selling RAM at $100.00 Mb. and only 4-6 dollars was my gross profit. I recently saw one of our local dealers offering 256 MB. for $50.00 and 512 for 92.
dougdrake
Heck, Lynn - I paid $10 for 256mb a couple of months ago, and just picked up 256mb DDR (the slow stuff, but still...) for FREE after rebate! DD
lynnm
Big Deal Doug !! I just bought a new PC for 1217.43 and the dealer offered me his personal rebate of $1800.00 if I would upgrade it from 1.0 Gb Ram to 2.0 Gb. The weird part is that if I want to accept the upgrade deal I have to personally present the 1217.43 in exact change to his supplier in Pnom Pen. I think maybe he is funning me - but I'm not sure ?
