m00n
Do they put on a good show? Is it worth paying $30.00 a ticket?
jzoz01
Aren't they playing with red hot chilli peppers and beastie boys or am i thinking of another tour?
M6 Driver
Yep saw them at the Luxor a few years back Paid $90 and would glady pay that again. Entertaining, lots of energy plus some crowd participation, great sound and visually and mentally stimulating! Where's the show going to be? kenratboy
We would have gone in Vegas (Luxor), but my mom said they were stupid (but knows nothing about them) so we didn't. After hearing some of the music and all, I REALLY want to see it.
m00n
They have a show coming up in Portland soon. I don't think The Blue Man Group would tour with Red Hot Chillies. Maybe, but they are two totally different shows.
jzoz01
I must be mistaken, the peppers and the beastie boys are on tour with someone, i forget who, but i thought it was them, guess i'm wrong.
Bruinsrme
$30 bucks is a steal. We paid $66 for the Boston show. Awesome music and a hilarious show...... I highly recommend it and also Highly recommend not asking anything else about the show. Just go enjoy it and I am sure you will. Invidiosulus
I saw them at their theater in chicago in 2000. They put on an awesome show with great music and great sound coming through the JBL pa speakers. I have their cd "Audio" and its got some great tracks on it but still(even with klipsch) doesn't capture the energy of the live show. Peace, Josh

middlecreekguy
I saw them a couple of years ago at a alternative rock fest. It`s a very visual show along with the music. For 30 bucks I saw At The Drive-In, Mike Watt, Built To Spill, Yo La Tengo, Grandaddy, Beck, and a few others I don`t recall. Blue Man was good but I personally would not pay just to see them alone. But they were only on stage for 20 minutes so maybe their whole show is worth $30.00.
Invidiosulus
Kenrodent, I have some JBL speakers which sound great for smaller speakers(and being free) My JBL have more bass(meaning they go lower) but the Heresy's have a stronger midrange and treble. Btw, my ticket was a group ticket at $48. Peace, Josh

Big Bean
The Chicago venue for Blue Man does not use JBL. Here is the link for the PA engineering for Blue Man at the Briar Street Theater in Chicago. Interesting stuff. http://www.meyersound.com/news/press/blueman.htm
