No, he's not kidding - and these are not your ordinary JBL home speakers. It's a 950 pound (per tower) loudspeaker system for professional monitoring. They run $89,000 per pair with the crossovers (MSRP)

That's actually a friggin steal at 6 grand.

I'm starting to agree with chain store guys too often. (J/K)

If you've ever heard Westlakes in a good control room, you'd agree with Griff, too!! I'd pay that much(if I could) for the four-way models that I've used with all direct radiators.

I would gleefully shell out twice that to get my hands on a pair of those monsters...

I'm just glad that I still have my 4311s to mix on. They were expensive enough when I bought them in 1972 ($329 ea). But I have been able to do mixes that have moved well from one playback system to another over the years. Even a pair of 4412s would still be nice to have.
