PhilH Posted January 16, 2001 Share Posted January 16, 2001 footloose: I have an Onkyo TXDS777 rated at 105 watts/channel running my KLF-30's, KLF-C7 and RS-3's and I can clear the room if I turn it up loud enough (guess my wife has forgotten the volume at a live concert, I'd better take her to another one). DPonder Posted February 23, 2001 Share Posted February 23, 2001 I had a Yamaha running my CF3's and it couldn't take the heat so to speak. Since then from some advice from someone who knew I went with ONKYO TX8511. Never had a problem after 4 years of running hard around the 1-2 O'clock position. It's also a 100 watts and I also have a recently acquired pair of KLF20 and about 9 mo. of break in time and they sound great with the ONKYO. boomer9911 Posted March 23, 2001 Share Posted March 23, 2001 It's more than plenty for your setup. I was going to use the DS787 to power a set of Khorns(f) and LaScala's® and Hersey(c, rc).
