As volume goes up (not loud at all) Monitor makes a hard cracle-buzz sound, especially with a hard attack. Woofer and tweeter seem OK. Will not bi-amp. lhtf Posted June 19, 2003 Share Posted June 19, 2003 Randy, The HF may have a diaphragm busted. The driver can still work with the diaphragm busted. You might want to have a dealer look at the driver for you. About BI-amping the KSM-12, have you taken the input panel off and cut the jumper wires between the top and bottom inputs? If not, just take the input panel off and cut the jumper wires between the top and bottom inputs. The top input is the HF and the bottom input is the LF. If you have any other questions let me know.
