Is this a good idea or should you only buy NOS tubes? Any idea of ther best tubes to buy? It takes EL34/6Ca7 (4), and (2) 7199. THe ebay number is 3032775274. sunnysal Posted June 28, 2003 Share Posted June 28, 2003 I think it is worth buying the $30 NOS 7199, I think the www.triodeel.com has them. re: EL34s and 5AR4s from EH (sovtek) seem very good...you need to set a budget and then you can decide what options there are to drop in.
