Peeemes Posted May 16, 2001 Share Posted May 16, 2001 I have a problem. I can play all the mp3s I want, they go thru all 4 speakers. I can play cds, and the sound comes from all 4 speakers too. UNLESS... I use winamp Mp3's come out all 4 speakers but if try to listen to a cd... it only comes out of 2 This only happens with winamp Anyone have solution? Quistes Posted May 25, 2001 Share Posted May 25, 2001 Its cause winamp doesn't do digital cd audio. Windows media player does. So you can either listen to cd's through wmp, or you can plug your cd drive directly into your soundcard. I have had the same problem as you and have chosen the wmp method, becuase ive heard that plugging the cd drive directly into the sound card results in sound quality degrading.
