May years ago there was a single frame cartoon of a man sitting at a bar. He says, "Funny, nobody looks particularly happy." Obviously, someone had just told him he had wandered into a gay bar. I wonder if that does not also describe the situation of some people in the Episcopal Church today. Some don't look particularly happy. Just a social observation. formica Posted August 5, 2003 Share Posted August 5, 2003 Since this seems to happen every couple of weeks, we are all becoming familiar with avman's coworkers occasional posts. The thing that strikes me is the number of references to homosexuals made by this "friend"... and I'm beginning to think that this co-worker is probably in the closet about his/her homosexuality. People who are ashamed of themselves will often ridicule the very group they are part of in order to distract others... I don't think they realise that no one on this forum really cares about the sexual orientation of the members.
