Bobcat979
Well, after doing some online shopping, I have discovered that I can get my Klipschs for a lot less online than if I buy them from my local audio shop. Of course, there is a disadvantage to buying online, which is if you get a defective speaker, you have to mail it back. I am talking about saving a lot of money though, if I buy online. So, what would you do, buy from the audio shop or spend $400 less and buy it online? BTW, the online store has pretty good customer ratings, and they guarantee that all of their items are sealed in the factory box.
garyzab
Give your local shop a chance by asking them to meet you halfway at the very least. I work for Tweeter and have been more then happy to do this for many customers.
STL
Remeber to factor in that you will pay for shipping from online stores, but also factor that you have to pay tax locally. Present your numbers to your local store and see what they offer to do. If they choose to do nothing, then go with the online store as long as they are credible. Inlite329
Also you need to consider if they are a dealer or sell authorized product. Cray Eddies for example cuts the S/N off and puts there own on. If in doubt call klipsch and find out. I currently work for a authorised dealer in GA
