dtximages
I have a question. I want to hook up my sub via coax cable just like u stick in your tv. I have rca/coax connectors. I am using 25 feet of it. I noticed the small copper wire sticking out the end. Is this all the current is traveling through? Is this cable a good idea???? Please let me know. Thanks
nicholtl
Why exactly do you want to hook it up via coax (RG-6?) cable and not a subwoofer cable?
M6 Driver
It's pretty much the same as the "SUB CABLE" and far more economical figure a 25ft run of well sheilded RG with adapters $35 tops compare that with some of the name brands. clspruiell, Goto Radio Shack and pick up the RG with the finshed ends and get the adapters that screw in. fabulousfrankie
It will work fine, in many cases it will be have better shielding than a lot of dedicated sub cables.
Q-Man
Like Frankie said, it will have better shielding. I use quad shielded coax cable for my long S-Video cable run. I use two coax cables and an S-Video spliter on eash end of the cables. The coax cable may even help reduce some of the noise in a long subwoffer cable run.
