Mr. Painful,

If you like Castro so much, why not move to Cuba? You're only getting a hint of the glorious life of Cuba, where important mail is sent by carrier pigeon, up in Canada.

I heard recently that Cuba's cigars are no longer of the high quality they used to be.

Another brilliant quote from you my binary friend.

If you read the phrase again, can't you grasp the irony in it? Having been there in vacation though I can tell you that the rhum and the musicians are freakin' excellent! Not a great place for the food though.

For the cigars, I don't really care I don't smoke.

Now, if you can refrain from distracting this interesting thread...

Mr. Painful,

This thread is a free-for-all.

Irony is generally lost on me. I normally read things as if the writer meant them. I don't have any inclination to waste time wondering if he meant the opposite of what he said.

I find you interesting.

Jim, well, apparently not! It was fun for a while though! These political threads seem to develop mass and speed all on their own.

When it hits 15 pages just jump in and ***** again. Then wait until 25 and repeat.

My apologies, Mr. Painful. Would you like Quebec to secede? I never hear any talk of that anymore. Is that all in the past?

Hey! I have a HF-81, I like SET, my RCA 2A3 are from the 40s... I'm lost in the past!

Sadly you are right. We missed our chance in the 1995 referendum. There is no chance to win another so die hard loons like myself will have to turn the page.

And oddly, this didn't spark a bloody civil war, or rampage of genocide. Well, at least not that we were involved in.

Well.. Quebecers are usually not to prone to go to war...

Don't forget that we are from French descent so the military art is not our forte. But we know how to make cheese that doesn't taste like processed rubber.

"Make Cheese Not War" = = = has the makings of another classic bumper sign. We could translate it down here to "Cheese, Love it or Leave It."

Greatest cheese quote must go to Charles de Gaulle who said:

On ne peut pas gouverner un pays qui offre 365 variétés de fromages

Which meant (loose translation here)

You can't govern a country which offer 365 varieties of cheese

BTW The "Make Cheese not War" would sell in France like hot cakes. Have a website made by Kelly and you'll get rich from this idea!
