Wisconsin: Mini meet (for real this time)

Thanks for the hospitality Damon. Your system sounded great and I did notice that the dialog, (front center) can keep up with the front and surround speakers when properly matched. That was also my first listen to RF5s and I was quite impressed. Even with SS power I didn't find them the least bit harsh or bright. Sonny's Sax and Max Roach's high-hat were smooth and crisp.

Easy, we missed you. It would have been great to incorporate some MIL stories into the conversation.

John and Damon are pretty high tech and when they started conversing in a language unfimiliar to me, we could have shared our MIL woe's.

Thanks again Damon. When we get our HT room done I'll set up a meeting over here. Probably sometime after the snow flys.

I am curious to know if there are any Klipscher's in the Northern Iowa area? I live in Decorah, and would like to do the same sort of thing with showing off each others systems.

You may want to post this in another thread, since if there are Iowa klipschers they may not read threads entitled "wisconsin mini meet"

Sorry guys I am batting 500. I wish I could have told som MIL storys. I had tons of homework and it doesn't come as easy the second time around. I haven't done calc since high school and I forgot how you have to remeber to get the right answers.

Damon

How quit is that Outlaw pre? If you select like a cd input and turn the volume up with no signal how quit is it? This was my only concern about the pre. This is what I realy am mad at that I missed.
