Olorin
Happy is about four years old. He found me as I was leaving work one day. He was skinny, dirty, smelly, clearly a stray, and when he got in my car when I told him to, he became my dog. He's a lab/mutt cross, we think. Gracie tries to steal the scene in the background. Gracie is a sevenish year old German Shepherd we rescued from the local shelter in January. She's put on about fifteen pounds and still needs about ten, but she's coming along really well. She's much happier than she was when we got her. Gracie says, "It's a great day to be alive."

steve
My wife Patty flew up to Anchorage to get this little guy this weekend. He's a 7 week old Pomeranian who we named "Rascal". He's certainly as handful, and he gives our other 2 dogs and our 3 cats a run for their money! We lost our 14 year old Pom, Nikki back in 2002..but we felt we wanted to wait for awhile before getting another Pom. They certainly tug at your heartstrings! They're not everyone's cup of tea, but we certainly like them! Thanx to all of you for taking in animals! All of ours (except for this little guy) are rescues! steve
those malemutes ARE cute! I had a malemute mix, I called him a malemutt..named Taku from about 1978 til he died in 1988..I adopted him when he was about 4..anyway, he actually appeared in Playboy in 1978, same issue as "Nancy Drew" on the cover.. He was one cool dog..I could scan the pic, and make it "presentable" on the forum... Funny thing is..he was in a pictoral with porn star "Constance Money" who was here in Yakutat at the time (her dad owned a lodge here)..she claimed Taku was hers..he just happened to jump in the truck with her and the film crew..and they used him in the pics.. michael hurd
Cool! [Y] Btw, My sister-in-law just got a new website up and running, still has to add the new puppy pictures, they are getting big. 10 out of the 12 are spoken for, one going to Germany, a few to the states, a couple of local ones and one to Switzerland. http://www.superiornet.net/DogBreeders/kiaranuks/index.htm

Parrot
Has anyone figured out why some pictures aren't working anymore after the Forum switch? Maybe nothing from idealbb? A lot of dog pictures aren't showing up. UPDATE: Mostly fixed now.

I think only the cutest smartest dogs still have thier pictures appear, must be a new function of the wedsite. Well just look north on this page for two prime examples.
